Dr Tammie Matson
Zoologist, Adventurer, Author, Film Producer and Entrepreneur
Dr Tammie Matson is a world expert on elephants and has inspired thousands of people, from children to adults, to achieve their dreams through her award-winning books, speeches and African adventures. Inspired by a visit to Zimbabwe at the age of fifteen, Tammie achieved what many said could not be done as a young woman from North Queensland, by first becoming a wildlife researcher in Africa, then achieving a PhD in zoology and becoming a published author – all before she turned 25.Today, she balances her passionate commitment to conservation with being a mother to two sons under age 6.

Catherine Fox
Journalist, Author and Presenter
Catherine is one of Australia’s leading commentators on women and the workforce. A journalist, author and presenter, she is regularly invited to address audiences around Australia ranging from the Defence Force to corporates and local government, and often appears in the media. During a long career with the Australian Financial Review she edited several sections of the publication, and wrote the Corporate Woman column and for Boss magazine before leaving to set up her own consulting business in 2012. Catherine helped establish the annual Westpac/Financial Review 100 Women of Influence Awards and is on several advisory boards, including the Australian Defence Force Gender Equality Advisory Board.

Named one of AFR-Westpac's Top 100 Influential Women in Australia in 2014, Dai has over two decades of storytelling skills and change making experience. Dai was a former award-winning journalist, film-maker and broadcaster with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She founded DAWN, a social enterprise that connects emerging leaders from culturally diverse backgrounds with senior and executive leaders from mainstream institutions through its online community, face-to-face events, and workshops in partnerships with corporate Australia and mainstream institutions. DAWN’s mission is to develop and build leadership capability for the next generations of leaders from culturally diverse backgrounds to influence and lead Australia.

This session will explore the Women & Leadership Australia’s 100 Days for Change initiative which represents one hundred days of taking practical action to effect real change. We will work together to identify change levers, outcomes and commitments.

Katrina Webb OAM
Triple Paralympic Gold Medallist and Business Woman
Katrina Webb won two Gold medals, and a Silver medal in Atlanta 1996 and at Sydney 2000 won Silver and Bronze. At Athens 2004 she won Gold in the 400-metre sprint and set a new Paralympic record. Katrina is founding Director of Silver 2 Gold High-Performance Solutions. As a passionate humanitarian, Katrina organises leadership treks to Nepal including Everest Basecamp, raising funds for the health, education and protection of children in Nepal.

Annabel Crabb is one of Australia's most beloved journalists. She is the host of ABC TV’s enormously popular Kitchen Cabinet series, and recently wrote and presented a ground-breaking documentary series set inside Parliament, entitled “The House, with Annabel Crabb”. Annabel is the author of The Wife Drought, a best-selling account of women and work in Australia, and of Stop At Nothing, a Walleye-winning biography of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Other books include her cookbook, Special Delivery, co-written with childhood friend Wendy Sharpe. With friend and ABC colleague Leigh Sales, Australia’s pre-eminent current affairs journalist, Annabel hosts the top-rating podcast Chat 10 Looks 3.

She is the Creative Director of ‘for purpose’ company Healthy Tasmania Pty Ltd which she founded with her sister, leading a wide range of projects that support Tasmanians to live the best life they can. Penny is a highly versatile communicator with 10 years' experience as a live radio broadcaster for the ABC. She is passionate about sharing stories from diverse perspective to help us better understand ourselves and the country we live in.

Elena Gosse is a trail-blazing entrepreneur and CEO of one of Australia’s most innovative companies, Australian Innovative Systems (AIS). After arriving in Australia as a Russian immigrant with her two young daughters, Elena overcame significant personal and professional challenges including changing careers, mastering the English language and embarking on further tertiary education. Elena has transformed AIS from a three-staff operation to the 50+ staff, multi-million dollar success story it is today. Elena’s passion for water disinfection is equalled only by her passion for equal opportunities for all. AIS’ workforce includes immigrants from 14 countries, people with disabilities and mature aged people. Elena champions gender equality, mentors other women and gives back to her community.
Jill Briggs

Jill Briggs has been a leadership and capacity building consultant and facilitator for over 20 years. She runs her own consultancy, Affectus P/L. Jill works primarily with individuals, communities and industries in leadership training and capacity building. She facilitates leadership programs for organisations and workplaces. She has pioneered leadership programs in Australia’s wine, seafood, aquaculture, horticulture and vegetable industries. Jill holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership, has postgraduate research in Adult Learning and is a Graduate of the AICD. Jill’s work was recently acknowledged when she received the Industry Impact Award – Seafood Industry Western Australia and National Impact Award – Australian Horticulture Awards of Excellence. Jill was named as one of the 100 Women of Influence in Agribusiness.
